About Me

The Story

I am a Bangladesh-based international development professional with a decade of experience in inclusive economic growth and social protection programs, with a focus on private sector engagement, access to finance, digital development, and multi-stakeholder partnerships.

My key skills include leading multi-million dollar projects from ideation to completion, driving business development in program design, proposal writing, partnerships, and securing high-value funding. I have extensive experience working with government agencies on project preparation and implementation, building and managing high-performing teams, fostering strategic partnerships, and driving innovation in complex environments.

In April 2023, I joined GiveDirectly—a global nonprofit dedicated to delivering unconditional cash transfers directly to people in poverty—for its newly launched operations in Bangladesh. I oversee the overall management of GiveDirectly’s programs and operations in Bangladesh, managing an annual budget of USD 6 million. This includes spearheading multi-million dollar projects such as the USD 5.2 million USAID Digital Cash Assistance Project, where I served as the Acting Chief of Party.

Before joining GiveDirectly, my consulting assignments included working with The World Bank on social protection and migration, supporting URC’s business development efforts in Bangladesh, and collaborating with the Global Knowledge Initiative to drive innovations for disaster response challenges. Previously, I led the Bangladesh program at the British Asian Trust, consulted for DAI and UNICEF, and worked on several USAID-funded projects, primarily focusing on private sector engagement and access to finance.
